notable bullet points of gamithra include:  
★ co-founded the [Icelandic Association for Humane Technology](https://mannvaen.is) and held a presentation about AI ethics for the Futures Committee of the Icelandic Parliament  
★ founded a language learning software startup, [TVÍK](https://tvik.is), which I am currently working on and planning to expand to languages other than Icelandic  
★ served as chairman of the board of the Icelandic Pirate Party between 2020-2022  
★ lived in a converted chapel with a bunch of hackers in North Wales in a community called the Astralship, and became eternally allergic to the idea of living in isolated concrete boxes  
★ a background in computer science cybersecurity, a deep interest in systems, governance, and imagining futures  
★ a deep love for Buddhism (been dreaming of getting ordained, at least temporarily, since I was 15) and exploring my own mind  
★ originally from Estonia, currently based in Iceland, but not for much longer – will spend the next year(s) slow-travelling and researching. I was going to work on a map of communities working towards new models of governance and brighter futures, but then I found the Second Renaissance and the map. which is great, now I can work on something else!
