Problems and Possible Responses Within Our Influence

In fact I’ve been researching, developing and testing this tool for the last few years. with the help of AI, I was finally able to get all the stuff out of my head and documented. I started running an overview session a couple weeks back, there are a few sessions left this week. This session is about why we need this practice.

There is a practice group starting in a couple of weeks. This is where we work with the actual tool.

Looks interesting, I’m a big fan of NVC. I may have missed it on your site, but do you have an explanation of your approach to measuring progress?

It’s actually an NVC resource created in 2011 by 4 people called the Pathways to Liberation self-assessment.
This tool is only one part of the overall “tool” which incorporates other things.

each row is a basic human capability.

Unskilled could also be considered a limitation.

Integrated could be considered a strength.

I usually remind people to try and hold self compassion when assessing themselves, it can be a bit painful getting more clarity about our limitations, especially when we imagine how they have been impacting ourself or the people around us.

We can also ask someone who knows us well to assess us. They may point out blind spots.

my thoughts are that any self improvement strategy that is not shifting something on this list. maybe it could be spiritual bypassing?
