Wow! I really, really, really want to see more of this! I hope it all sees the light of day, and I’ll be happy to do what I can to help that happen!
One approach to that might be collective intelligence: put specific excerpts into their own topic threads here and let the community weigh in. Or not. That’s up to you. But to get into detailed responses and reactions on all the chapters would need a distributed structure like that. One thread can’t bear the weight.
The most original part, IMO, is the Sant Mat framework. The kama - krodha - lobh - moh - ahankar model is a much cooler way of expressing a lot of the same ideas Luke Kemp is suggesting in Goliath’s Curse. But yours adds a psychological/spiritual dimension which is very intriguing.
I also love the Kegan Trap in which pre-industrial society traps people at Kegan level 3 on purpose. Brilliant! Also very consistent with Habermas’s analysis of the pre-Axial or what Eric Voegelin calls compact consciousness. The Axial breakthroughs - in different modes in different civilizations - are the cultural prerequisites for Kegan 4 and beyond. (For example, Homer’s Odyssey can be read as the cultural birth of Kegan’s self-authoring).
As for Chapter 4 and beyond, I really want to get into the historical weeds, but not here, not now. Please do keep pushing this out into the world!
