Long story. I’m 56 and I’ve been thinking about this stuff my whole adult life. Officially I am a foraging expert and author. I was once a software engineer, and took a degree in philosophy in my 30s after an extreme conversion from Dawkinsian activist to mystic. My primary interest is collapse and transformation (of society and individuals). I have a book about this coming out this summer.
