Tents are where community meets project inside The Oasis meetings. Each Tent gets its own subcategory here for questions, discussion, status updates, etc.
To ask a general question about Tents or explore opening a new Tent, just make a post normally in this “Oasis Tents” category.
To make a post “inside of” any specific Tent, when you create a new post, click on the Category selector (where it says “Oasis Tenets” by default) and pick the specific subcategory like “GiveWiser” or “Art of the 2R”.
The Field Building tent is up and running! We’ll be meeting again next week.
“Field Building” is related to ideas like community building, networking, relationships, mapping, and generally creating connectivity in and between liminal spaces.
Hello all. Per JamesBaker’s suggestion above, I’m posting here with a proposal/interest in setting up a Tent for deep diving the Collective Action side of Rufus’s “Intermediate Layer” which it looks like he tried to open up for further discussion last September. I’ve reviewed some of the main mentions of Collective Action within the overall posts section, and it doesnt look like there has been much direct ongoing discussion of this since last fall, so perhaps a tent for gathering those within the 2R community interested in pursuing this topic area in more depth would be appropriate? In any case, I’d be happy to host or co-host such a tent to get an ongoing discussion established in a framework that would develop and be open to new entrants and deepening of the frame over time. Please let me know what the next step would be for setting up an Oasis Tent for this purpose. Cheers,
