Sorry I will miss this due to schedule conflict. When I attend local conferences on cooperative movements in general, the topic below keeps coming up.

I am not entirely convinced at state-sponsored bank along this lines is necessarily going to work out well. Government bureaucratic solutions often fail to impress. My personal banking is through a credit union, which seems closer to the cooperative spirit.

However, the models in your upcoming presentation may be closer still. I would very much be interesting in comparing the strengths and weaknesses of each of these models.
