Dear Colleagues,
Europe has a proud tradition of community cooperation and innovation, which will be essential as we tackle the challenges of a stalled transition away from fossil fuels. Communities everywhere will require support, and your experience will be invaluable.
I have prepared a paper outlining the current situation, the urgency of the matter, and an approach that communities can adopt to improve their resilience. Please have a look.
As part of my efforts to disseminate these ideas, I plan to register a European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) with the EU to promote resilience as a shared European priority. To proceed, I need your help; we require seven individuals from seven different EU Member States to act as organisers.
This role is light and initially involves listing your name as an organiser for your country, with further involvement decided as it evolves.
Would you be open to learning more about this, or do you know others who might be interested in the initiative?
