4 Noble Beliefs
The 4 Noble Beliefs of a Second Renaissance – and Why Theories of Change Matter
Join Rufus Pollock, co-founder of Life Itself, for an interactive discussion on the 4 Noble Beliefs of a Second Renaissance (secondrenaissance.net) and the role of theories of change in shaping transformation. We’ll explore why having a clear framework for change is useful, compare different approaches, and discuss the importance of clarity and alignment in driving meaningful progress and action.
Through dialogue, reflection, and discussion, we’ll explore how beliefs shape transformation, what credos and worldviews can drive change, and how we can cultivate the seeds of a new era.
This session invites critical reflection on the assumptions we hold and the frameworks we use to navigate transformation. Whether you’re new to these ideas or already deeply engaged, this highly participatory session will offer fresh insights and meaningful exchanges.

GiveWiser
We’re introducing the GiveWiser initiative. Fundamentally, this is an experiment in giving. Our focus is on distilling patterns and principles for what constitutes wise giving. We’re approaching this with humility and a touch of humor—aware of the complexity of the challenge. We’ll also be putting real money at stake

Conscious Coliving & Praxis ecology
How do we create spaces that support both personal growth and collective transformation? This session explores deliberately developmental spaces and the design of ecologies of practice as grounded in the work of the Life Itself Praxis Hub in Bergerac, France.
At the heart of this exploration is the recognition that our perception of reality is often shaped by a sense of separation. Yet, through shared life and intentional practice, we cultivate a deeper interconnection—integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary insights on how collective living shapes emotional and physiological well-being.
We’ll look at the Praxis Ecology as a living experiment in communal life, where philosophy and practice intertwine. How can structured, shared practices—whether cooking, contemplation, or caring for the space itself—help us unlearn individualistic habits and rediscover a more fluid, interconnected way of being?
A conversation that bridges theory and lived experience, exploring both the challenges and the transformative potential of collective life.
