The session weaves together the practice of collective sense-making, the use of Negation Game as a tool for reasoned disagreement, and epistocracy as a lens for reflecting on decision quality and intellectual accountability. Rather than treating disagreement as a problem to suppress, we’ll look at how structured dissent, evidence, and the willingness to change one’s mind can become shared infrastructure for cooperative governance.
The Negation Game is a discussion platform built on principles of epistemic accountability and honest intellectual discourse. Unlike traditional discussion platforms that rely solely on upvotes or likes, the Negation Game implements a sophisticated system of economic incentives designed to reward intellectual honesty, evidence-based reasoning, and the willingness to change your mind when presented with compelling counter evidence.

- Intro to sense making (and Negation Game) (10 min)
- Negation Game exercise about the pros/con of Epistocracy (20 min)
- Discussion about the experience, how does NG support us and what obstacles does it generate? (20 min)
