I wonder what would be a good topic for the call?

  1. Is there much appetite for a bit of philosophy?

I could present Gabriel Marcel’s “presence”, “mystery” , “sacred” and contrast it with Vervaeke’s relevance realisation, frame and agent arena.

I haven’t seen the connection between the 2 mentioned yet.

  1. Alternatively , we could talk about Third Places - which is Ray Oldenburg’s concept.

Both interesting - my preference would be for the first. I was also hoping for one on your ‘imagining futures’ topic, but perhaps that’s not ready yet?

Thanks Jonah, I’ll present on Marcel. It’s potentially an interesting subject, especially when it comes to relating to others and searching for meaning.

Yesterday I went to a meetup about imagined futures. It was interesting to learn just how the understanding of what imagining future is shared differently among people.
